In-Person & Online Focus Groups
Limelight Insights by Shugoll provides facilities and project management for qualitative research in the DC area and across the country. We host in-person focus group discussions at highly-rated focus group facilities in your local area, hotels or conference centers. A recruiter will tell you where and when the group discussion is taking place during the screening process to see if it’s convenient for you.
While we still conduct focus groups discussion in-person when appropriate, most of our focus groups are now held remotely using our industry-leading online qualitative research platform, Limelight. You can participate from the comfort and convenience of your own home or office and still get paid for your opinions!
The Limelight Platform can be used for online focus groups or one-on-one interviews. Typically, we suggest a maximum of 90-minute sessions and limit the focus group size to 6 to 8 participants.
Moderating Focus Group Discussions
All focus group discussions are led by one of our experienced moderators, who use probing questions to encourage participants to share their opinions and experiences. Our professional moderators play an essential role in our focus group discussions. They use a variety of techniques to keep the discussion on track and ensure that all participants have a chance to voice their opinions. In addition to facilitating discussion, moderators also analyze the data collected during the focus group and prepare reports that provide valuable insights to the company commissioning the market research study.
